Formal dinners & socials
Flagship evenings with friends, entertainment, and a named beneficiary —including our summer formal that supported North Texas Food Bank and Wounded Warrior Project.
Exhilarating gatherings that celebrate cars — then convert hospitality into measurable support for community partners.
How an evening works
Many CARS dinners ask the host venue to designate roughly 10–20% of sales proceeds to a charity named for that event. Sponsors underwrite our operations so guest generosity can travel further.

Members vote on causes close to the heart —veterans and animals —culminating in a major gift to K9s for Warriors.
Food, clothing, and toy drives that put essentials into local pipelines.
Accessibility ramp builds, school and hospital visits, car shows, and golf scrambles that put members to work beyond the dinner table.
Timeline
Founder & President Tom Gore establishes Charity and Racing Society to share a passion for sports cars while building a giving community in Plano and across North Texas.
CARS raised and donated over $7,000 via proceeds from a summer formal dinner — pairing celebration with hunger relief and veteran support.
Charity and Racing Society receives unconditional tax-exempt status (EIN 99-2069245), confirming deductibility for qualifying contributions.
After expenses, 100% of raised monies from the holiday party supported K9s for Warriors —pairing highly trained service dogs with veterans facing PTSD, TBI, and related challenges.
CARS is listed on MyGivingCircle so supporters can vote and amplify the organization in USA & Canada charity grant competitions.
